Unrooted cuttings planted directly into ground is best done in early Summer and Nov - April.

You can also root these all year round before planting.  Simply stand them in a container of water reaching halfway up the stem.  Keep in a semi-shady or shady spot and maintain the water level.  When the roots have formed, plant into the ground taking care not to damage the delicate roots.

Rooted cuttings can be planted all year round.

Cuttings are 7-10" or 18-25cm approx.
